For those of you who DON'T know, in Lubbock we have an amazing football team! We also have even more amazing fans! On game days, the whole city is decked out in red and black and homes and businesses show their support with Texas Tech flags (and not just one!)! It is quite a sight to behold! The other way our city likes to show support is by fellowship- aka TAILGATE PARTY!!! This year our church even decided to host a tailgate party in the parking lot! It was awesome! It started on Friday afternoon and went (through the night) until game time Saturday! We had a smoker on site with brisket, hot dogs, beans, etc., OH! And our church band performed too! We didn't brave the Friday evening festivities with a toddler, but we did hang out for a little while before the game on Saturday!
