One Very Hot Day in September...
One afternoon in the beginning of September (it was about 90 degrees outside), Barnard began realizing that fall was quickly approaching and soon it would be cold and winter (his least favorite season). So I, in my optimism, began reciting all the fun things about winter... for example snow! Bryawna was listening intently to our conversation and became very excited about the thought of snow in our backyard and playing in it! She insisted that we go outside and play in the snow right then! We explained to her, in all our wisdom, that she was wearing shorts and a tanktop and that it was hot outside. When it snows, however, it is cold outside and we must wear our heavy coat and boots. She insisted that it was, in fact, cold enough for snow and she put on (with a little help) her heavy coat and boots to prove it! Then she wanted to go outside and look for the snow! Barnard and I were cracking up! Adventures in toddler world! Hope this brings a smile to your faces like it did ours!
